Brief Description
Coloured print, featuring three men of the early to mid 19th century playing cricket. One man is batting at the crease, another is the wicketkeeper, and the third is a fielder in the background. All wear black top, or 'beaver' hats and cricketing whites. The fielding players wear blue bow ties with yellow dots,the batter wears a plain blue bow tie. Artist signature, "CHAS / CROMBIE", visible at the bottom left. On reverse is inscription, "A. BAER COLLECTION 1962 / No. 597" followed by a signature, probably A Baer. Also affixed to reverse are a Parker Gallery sticker, and a sticker with "169" handwritten on it.
