Brief Description
Hand-coloured etching of a cricket match at Cheltenham College. The scene shows a cricket pitch, bordered on two sides by gothic-style buildings. Two games of cricket are being played, one in the foreground and one further in the distance. To the left of the image are a group of men wearing dark suits, bowler and top hats. A plain border surrounds the image, with no information about date or producers, although these can be deduced from other copies of the print. Verso handwritten in pencil "Cheltenham School/1870".
