Brief Description
Hand-coloured etching of Beaumont College in Hertfordshire, showing the facade of the main school building with figures standing outside. In the foreground, to the left, a man dressed in long black robes and a black hat, stands with three boys wearing cricket whites, two wearing blue striped blazers and carrying bats. Two other school masters stand near the main entrance to the building, and two dogs are sitting on a lawn nearby. The image is surrounded by a plain border with the publisher's details printed above, and the names of the draughtsman and etcher written in pencil below, along with a caption that reads "Beaumont Gen Ext."

Amazing to discover these…the other side of the world! In fact, the buildings in each print are the College’s prep. school: St.John’s, Beaumont. Best wishes.
