Brief Description
Colour lithograph full-length portrait of English cricketer Daniel King. The picture shows a man wearing white trousers, waistcoat, jacket, neckerchief and top hat, and holding a cricket bat in his right hand. He is standing in the grounds of Goodwood House, Sussex - the building and parkland can be seen behind him. Below the image are the following inscriptions: "Sharp, lith, Gerrard St. Soho / From a Painting by J Lush. / Proof / To the Earl of March, the Subscribers and Cricketers of Sufsex / This print of the late DANIEL KING, is dedicated by permifsion, / [...] their Humble Servant, John Lush".
