Brief Description
Lithographic print, black and white ink on a buff background. Image is of a man in a dark suit and flat bowtie, standing holding his top hat, with a building in the background. Text under image reads, "THE UMPIRE. / W.H. CALDECOURT". Text above image, inside the border, reads, "SKETCHES AT LORDS. No. 2.". Immediately under the image l.l. is further text, "John C. Anderson del et lith"; l.r. "Printed by Hullmandel & Walton"; and centre under the title, "London Published by John Corbet Anderson, 40 Church Road, De Beauvoir Square, Kingsland, May 20th 1850, and by Mr. R. Dark, Lord's Ground". Writing on reverse reads "VII / 2".
