Brief Description
Lithograph, coloured ink on yellow-coloured paper. Shows a group of men in cricket whites and black top hats playing cricket on a grassy area, surrounded by dressed-up men and women. "CRICKET AT LORD'S IN 1822" printed under image, inside a blue and yellow border. Very small script on lower edge reads in part " London, Published July 16 1894 by The Leadenhall Press Ltd., 50 Leadenhall Street, E.C. Copyright registered./ Entered according to Act of Congress in the Office of the Librarian at Washington U.S.A. in the year 1894 by The Leadenhall Press Ltd., London." Verso handwritten in pencil centre "XII / 2 ".
