Brief Description
Pen and ink drawing in brown on light-coloured paper. The artwork is not signed but is possibly by Louis Wain. It depicts sketches a cat in cricketing gear in twelve different poses (arranged in a 4x3 grid), describing his progress through a cricket match. The title written across the top is "Something like play!". Handwritten in ink on the reverse "With best wishes for a merry Christmas & a happy/ New year to Arthur from Willie.". Mounted in a olive/beige window mount.
