Brief Description
A colour print, originally a cover for sheet music. The middle of the page has picture of a cricket match in progress on an expanse of grass, with the batsman about to hit the ball. Text above reads "THE / CRICKETER'S GALOP / WITH VOCAL CHORUS" and below, "DEDICATED / TO THE/ GREENOCK WEST END CRICKET CLUB/ BY/ CHARLES DENNEY/ B.M. Ist GREENOCK RENFREWSHIRE R.V.". The chorus is also printed around the central picture and publishing information along the bottom "Greenock/ James Inglis & Sons" and a blue stamp "Inglis & sons / Music Sellers/Greenock". Printed inside the image 'Home & Macdonald Lith.'. The paper is encased in Mylar and mounted in a window mount.
