Brief Description
A colour print, originally a cover for sheet music. In the centre of the page is a picture of a cricketer wearing with with a red cap, surrounded by an ornate border of foliage. Around this central picture are four others, depicting two cricketers in white at the top ("CLARK" and "FULLER PILCH"), and two cricket grounds at the bottom ("LORD'S" and "THE OVAL"). The artist's name 'T.W. Lee Lith' is inscribed beside the central figure. Above the pictures is text reading "THE CRICKETER / SONG / Dedicated to / THE CRICKET CLUBS / OF THE UNITED KINGDOM". Underneath is "SONG BY / HOWARD PAUL / WRITTEN AND COMPOSED / By / W.J. BULLOCK". Printed below centre "London, Weippert & Co. (Late Simpson), 266 Regent Street, W.".
