Brief Description
Hand- coloured lithograph printed on thin newspaper/magazine with full-colour print on the cover depicting W G Grace in cricketing whites with yellow and red striped blazer and cap. Below the image, in centre are the initials "W.G.". The publication's title is "The / Man of the World" and this copy is edition 43 (new series) dated Saturday August 10, 1889. Printed inside is text in three columns on various topics, with advertisements on the back and the names of the former "Men and Women of the World". The printer is 'Walbrook & Co.' and the publisher is 'A.H. Cribbons'. The magazine has been sewn into a plastic sleeve as part of conservation efforts.
