Brief Description
Monochrome lithograph of teachers and schoolboys in the quadrangle of Brighton College. In the foreground, two boys are holding cricket bats, and several other figures appear, but the print focuses on the building's architecture. Immediately below the image are printed the names of the draughtsman "On stone by G. Hawkins"; architect 'G.G. Scott Archt.(George Gilbert Scott)', lithographer "Day & Son Lithrs. to The Queen'. The decoratively inscribed title "Brighton College" printed in the centre and below the publisher "London, Published by George Bell 186 Fleet Street'.. The print is housed in a modern window mount made of marbled card.
