Brief Description
Tall baseball trophy, polished and black-painted wood on black-painted wood base, surmounted by a plastic gold-coloured figurine of a pitcher pitching a ball. Gold-coloured reflective plastic plaque affixed to base is engraved with the inscription, "V.B.A. / 'A' GRADE PREMIERS 1969 / MELBOURNE". Vertical plaque on body of trophy is engraved with the names of the chairman, the captain-coach, the players, the batboy, the scorer, and the secretary. There is a a screw hole on top of the base in front of the central column where a figurine has detached.
