Electro Plated Nickel Silver tray, oval shaped, raised centre edge, centre inscription; with two handles and four small hemispherical metal feet. Features maker's marks on underside. Inscription engraved on tray plate reads: 'PRESENTED TO/Frank Laver/BY THE/EAST MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB./ON THE OCCASION OF HIS MARRIAGE./SEPTEMBER. 1914.'. Verso hallmark stamp, maker's stamp "J S & S", numbers "4222 R".
