Object Detail
Brief Description
Late 19th century image of a cricket match in progress. In front of a pavilion with a flag pole, are two batsmen scoring runs, with a fielder throwing the ball to a catcher in the hope of a run out. Plaque was once mounted onto a shield, as the lack of ornamentation and nail holes around the edges suggest.
