Brief Description
Silver Vesta case, rectangular with curved ends and hinged lid (empty inside). On the front is an engraved decorative pattern around an oval of bronze-coloured metal secured to the case. On this oval is a picture of a cricketer in white, standing in front of wickets with bat over shoulder in an almost baseball pose. Inscription on reverse " J.G to J.H. 1875". The bottom of the case has a carved, textured strip.
