Brief Description
Silver platter with petal-shaped rim and three decorative legs. Engraved on the front are facsimiles of cricket players' signatures surrounding the text, "IN APPRECIATION / TO OUR SKIPPER / M.C.C. / SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR / 1938-39". There are four small stamps on the front: one the letters EV; one a crown; one a lion; and the last the letter V.
