Brief Description
Colourful watercolour featuring cricketers dressed in uniform (white trousers and blazers) in a jungle scene. Three cricketers and a native are looking into a large pot while others stand and sit around accompanied by other natives and jungle animals. Artist name and date lower right edge. Signed and dated lower right 'Frank Reynolds 1925'. Below the image handwritten in pencil on the mount "Luncheon Interval - Head-hunters". Part of a series, "Impossible Tours with the M.C.C.". Originally framed in a black and gold painted wooden frame. Artwork is on Whatman's sketch board by Winsor & Newton Ltd.
