Brief Description
Small watercolour depicting a young boy in sailor suit and blue cap holding a small cricket bat in the crook of his left arm, with a 'trap' by his feet. Cream window-mount; black and gold wooden frame. Inscription at lower reverse reads, "FRANCIS LINDSAY MORGAN / AGED 5 1/2 YEARS / 1877". Also verso handwritten in pen "Anthony Baer Collection 1961 / no. 51/ (signed) A. Baer".
