Brief Description
Highly detailed artwork, paint on paper, varnished. Consisting of a comical cricket scene on the lower half, with the upper edge featuring the hand-drawn text "A TRUE CHRONIKLE/ OF YE/ NOBYL GAME/ CRYCKETE/ Taken/ from/ BELL...in/ LONDON", on an incredibly decorative background of small coloured panels and pictures, many of crickets and bats (of the animal variety). A Latin phrase is written on the lower edge. Handwritten inscription on reverse reads "The Second Schedule referred to by the before written Indenture". The Indenture is M4976; according to the 1967 Anthony Baer inventory M4976 & M6520 were together.
