Oil painting on canvas showing the 3/4 length portrait of a seated man wearing a dark grey suit, red tie, white shirt and brimmed hat, against a dark background. He is holding a pipe in one hand, resting in his lap. The wood frame has a raised, ornate composite edge, and is painted gold. The plaque affixed to the lower edge reads "H. TRUMBLE / Secretary 1911-1938 / ARTIST: A.E. Newbury".
