Brief Description
Black painted oblong snuff box with hinged lid. Top of lid features a raised metallic logo of a wicket planted in turf, and topped by a cricket ball. Two crossed cricket bats are in front of wicket. Since the bats are spliced, a technique begun from c.1830 and are shaped in the modern fashion which was created around 1870, then it it likely that this object does date to circa 1870.
