Brief Description
Completed scorecard for a match between Gentlemen and Players, held at Kennington Oval on 14th July 1870 and following days. The scorecard is printed in black ink on silk, and loosely mounted on thick card. Below the batting scores (bowling figures are not included), is a list of "MATCHES TO COME AT THE OVAL". The match resulted in a draw, with the Gentlemen making 513 in their second innings including a double century by W.G. Grace.
