Brief Description
Record cover for a 12" long playing recorded album. Cover features a photographic reproduction of an oil painting of a cricket match somewhere in England during the c. 19th century. The original artist is unknown. Above this image is the title of the album which reads CRICKET. The upper right corner reads 'BBC'. Along the bottom the text reads, in part, "A selection of tea interval readings / by members of / THE LORD'S TAVERNERS". Reverse side has further printed text about the recordings. The previous owner has placed their personal sticker near the upper right corner.
