Brief Description
Colour reproduction print of a painting of the Queensland Cricketers' Club premises on the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba. The picture shows a view of a cricket match seen from fine leg position, with seagulls in the foreground, and spectators viewing from the boundary. The title of the painting, "PICNIC DAY 'THE GABBA'" is in the lower-left, and the artist's name and the year are in the lower-right. Below the image are printed more details, and the artist's original signature in pencil as well as "85/500" indicating the imprint number.
