Brief Description
Circular white ceramic plate from the "Century of Centuries" series. A brown transfer image on the face features a portrait of Sir John Hobbs in the centre, surrounded by a circle of bats inscribed with his scores of more than a century. Around these bats is a border of balls and bales, and the rim of the plate is gold. On the back is a facsimile of Sir Hobbs' signatures, and the dates 1905-1923 and stamp "Edition Limited to 500 Plates'..
