Brief Description
Circular white ceramic plate from the "Century of Centuries" series. A brown transfer image on the face features a portrait of J. H. Edrich MBE in the centre, surrounded by a circle of bats inscribed with his scores of more than a century. Around these bats is a border of balls and bales, and the rim of the plate is gold. On the back is a facsimile of Mr Edrich's signature, and the dates 1959-77, with stamp " Limited edition of 1500 plates" - plate has no individual edition number.
