Brief Description
Cricket bat with spliced blade, clear plastic protective cover and twine-bound, red rubber grip handle. Adhered to the front is a coloured transfer that reads, in part, BENSON AND HEDGES / BICENTENNIAL / TEST / JAN 29TH - FEB 2ND 1988, with an emblem of a kangaroo and lion facing a set of wickets. Printed below is the scorecard for the Test, with David Boon identified as the Player of the Match. The signatures of the English and Australian Cricket Teams are written in ink on the reverse. The maker's mark, Gray-Nicolls, features on the front and reverse.
