Brief Description
Commemorative medallion housed in black case. Obverse is the Marylebone Cricket Club logo with text in legend that reads "BICENTENARY / 1787 1987". Reverse features image of the current Lord's Cricket Ground Member's Pavilion, with an 18th century and a 20th century batsman in the foreground. A bust profile portrait of Thomas Lord is located above. Inscription reads "THOMAS LORD / 1787-1987". Medallion is made by Thomas Fattorini and has maker's details, stamp "T.F." and hallmarks. Black coloured, hinged case for Marylebone Cricket Club Bicentenary commemorative medallion. Maker's details - Thomas Fattorini - feature on the inside of the lid.
