Brief Description
Trophy consisting of a square platform on decorative legs sitting on a heavy circular wooden base. The top of the platform is textured with a shiny section in the middle depicting a baseball triangle, on which are tiny figurines playing baseball (batsman, catcher, pitcher, three basemen, and three outfielders). The platform sits on silver-coloured metal legs made to look like curved wood covered in grapes and vines. The base is of dark-coloured wood with several tiers with rounded profile. On the base is a metal shield, engraved with text, reads in part, "'The Spalding Baseball Trophy' to be competed for by the clubs composing [comprising?] the Victorian Baseball League".
