Brief Description
Rectangular ceramic jewellery box and lid. Bold yellow glaze with gold gilt rim and white interior. The lid has an image of cricketer Alfred Mann Esq. Inscription on one side of the box, in black, reads, "THE NOBLE SPORT OF CRICKET", and on the other, "THE RENOWNED CRICKETER". Underside of the box "Gray's Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent".
