Brief Description
Ceramic circular container, possibly a tobacco jar or biscuit barrel. Cream glaze with brown painted image in oval of cricketer "Richardson" bowling. Ceramic circular lid with cream glaze and brown painted image of the cricketer "Richardson" in action. Lid has tiered gold knob handle and inner metal support. Writing on reverse reads "Tom Richardson, Surrey, 1898, Globe AOC brand Ra 319664".
