Brief Description
Coffee coloured circular ceramic plate, probably Staffordshire, with raised daisy chain design around rim. In the centre of the plate is a black coloured scene depicting a boy with a cricket bat surrounded by 3 other children and 2 adults. Around the scene is written THE BASKET HE OPEN'D, THE PARCEL WAS FLOWN, GEORGE WAS SILENT AND SCARCELY COULD LIFT UP HIS ?YLE FOR CAKE HE ? HID WAS HIS OWN.
