Brief Description
Chromolithograph, full-length caricature portrait of H. Butler (ex-cricketer), wearing clerical garments - a large grey cloak and skull cap, sitting cross-legged on a brown wooden chair, against a light grey background. Butler has a full grey-white beard and is clasping his hands in front of him. The title "Trinity" is printed below the picture, and the pseudonym of the artist Leslie "Spy" Ward is printed at lower right inside the picture. Above the image at top left is printed VANITY FAIR and above right the date MAY 28th 1903. Hinge-mounted on white foam board with fawn-coloured window mount and grey insets.
