Brief Description
Lithograph print of Wesley College, Sheffield, built in 1836. The style of architecture is neo-Classical, with three pedimented porticoes on the facade in the Corinthian order. The building is very large and three storeys tall. In front of the building are youngsters playing cricket, wearing trousers jackets and mortar board hats. The names of the draughtsman and lithographer are printed beneath the image, and under that is the title, "WESLEY COLLEGE, SHEFFIELD". Writing on reverse reads, "XV 3".
