Object Detail
Brief Description
Lithograph print of a cricket match with landscape in the background. Players and umpires are wearing an assortment of clothing and hats. In the background is a small pavilion around which are groups of spectators, beyond which is a hill with several large buildings around it and trees at the base. The print is bordered by a thin beige line and has no text, suggesting that it was a proof. The producers and subject matter can be identified with reference to other versions which give the title as "Knowles Hill from the South Devon Cricket Ground". Writing on reverse reads "XV 2".
