Brief Description
Coloured engraving with a full-length profile view of a bowler who wears tight trousers, jacket, neck tie and top hat, and has long sideburns. He is approaching a set of stumps with the ball in his right hand, and seems to be bowling with an underarm action. In the background is a tent with a pennant flying from it, and foliage beyond. The print is coloured in some areas. The name of the draughtsman is in the lower-left, and printed beneath the image is the title, "THE BOWLER". Written on reverse, "3".
