Brief Description
A side-on view of a batsman, taking stance in front of a set of stumps. The batsman has a strange posture, with his front leg outstretched, and his body leaning back. He holds a cricket bat with both hands, wears tight-fitting breeches, belt, buttoned shirt and a neck scarf. The background is minimal. The name of the lithographer, publisher and title of the work, "PLAY!" are printed beneath the image. Lithographer is 'Jones', publisher 'S. Knights'.
