Brief Description
Full-length portrait print of English cricketer William Dorrinton. In the foreground, a man wearing trousers, shirt with braces, neckerchief and bowler hat is carrying a cricket bat. The figure stands in a field, with trees and a church tower in the background. Below the image is printed the title, "WILLIAM DORRINTON / BORN, TOWN MALLING, 1809. / From the original Drawing by Felix in the Pavilion of the Marylebone Cricket Club. / (By kind permission of the M.C.C.)". Writing on reverse reads "VIII 2".
