Brief Description
Engraving of figures playing cricket in front of a large building. The title of the work, "PUTNEY SCHOOL", is printed to look like a carved inscription, and an elaborate border surrounds the rest of the image. The picture itself is dominated by the brick, Georgian-style building to the right. In the foreground are figures playing cricket using a curved bat and underarm bowling action. The name of the artist and date of production are printed underneath. Writing on reverse reads "4". Item has "M8559" crossed out.
