Brief Description
Lithograph print of a children's playground, with youngsters playing on various apparatus including a swing, see-saw and climbing frame. In the lower-right, four figures are playing a game of cricket. In the background is a large building, with two trees in front, and a horse-drawn carriage passing in front. The names of the artist and lithographer are printed just below the image, and underneath is the title, "Overn-Lodge Academy, Downend, near Bristol. / Conducted by Mr H. Curtis". The print is loosely mounted behind cream-coloured card. Writing on reverse reads, "VIII 7".
