Lithograph print of a scene on Cowley Common near Oxford, showing men playing cricket and riding horses. The foreground features men on horseback wearing jackets and top hats. In the lower-right are three dogs. A game of cricket is being played in the middle ground, with a large marquee beyond. In the background are low hills. The name of the publisher is printed below the image, and underneath is the title, "BULLINGDON ON A SUMMER'S AFTERNOON". Writing on reverse reads, "II I" and "13".
