Brief Description
Colour lithograph of figures playing cricket with houses in the background, subtitled "LILLYWHITE AT HOME". The image shows six figures - three playing cricket - on a grassy area in front of a single-storey cottage. They are wearing mid-nineteenth century dress, and one is smoking a long clay pipe. The lithographer and printer are credited below the image, and underneath is printed "LILLYWHITE AT HOME. / A REMINISCENCE OF THE PAST / Sketched from the Cottage in which the Family were born / Published by Fred Lillywhite, 15 Kennington Oval, Surrey". Writing on reverse reads "4".
