Brief Description
Pewter tankard, sloping inwards towards the top, with decorative handle on one side. Engraved on the front is "Australian Bicentenary / 1788-1988" along with a raised design featuring the Australian coat of arms. Engraved text on the back features the title AUSTRALIA'S HISTORICAL MILESTONES with a list underneath featuring important dates in Australian history, including the Olympics in 1956. The base is stamped with various symbols, including the Australian Bicentenary symbol and a maker's mark reading PEWTER PRODUCTS P/L. The bottom of the tankard is see-through.
