Brief Description
Small rectangular album comprising twenty, off-white card pages held together with two staples and printed in brown ink. The album contained 50 cards each adhered to its section. The title reads AN ALBUM OF / CRICKETERS / 1938, with an image to the right of two batsman walking across a field, with spectators in the background. The album is issued by the John Player and Sons Tobacco Company. Adhered to each page inside are three colour printed cricket cards showing a head and shoulders portrait of individual England and Australian cricket players, with their brief biography below. A table of contents is printed on the inside cover.
