Cufflink, circular enamelled badge with gold wings on the side, with "MALVERN/ STAR/ CYCLES" in the centre; 'STAR' inside a blue star. A teardrop-shaped fastener is on the reverse.

Does anyone know the history of this cufflink. Were they sets or singular items. I also have only one passed down from my grandfather but have no idea of the story behind it, or it's age. Was it a promotional piece, were they sold to customers or issued as a prize from a race? Any history on this would be great. Thank you.

I’m told they were a singular issues to riders with their rider number embossed on the back.
