Brief Description
Cricket bat featuring spliced blade and twine-bound handle covered by a leather grip with stitched seam. Inscription on the reverse of the blade reads J M BLACKHAM / 2-5 / 1893. The maker's mark F H AYRES is imprinted on the front of the blade by the shoulder and splice.
