Brief Description
Lead crystal spirit decanter with rounded bottom corners slope upwards and inwards to a narrow point at the neck, which then flares out to support the stopper. The back and front are flat, with an engraving on the front which depicts the Marylebone Cricket Club logo and the words "BICENTENARY 1787-1987" written around it. Engraved on the bottom is "This full lead crystal decanter engraved to celebrate The Bicentenary of the Marylebone Cricket Club is no 26 in a strictly limited edition of 50". The designer is Michael Virden. Lead crystal stopper: From the top it has a square spare with rounded corners, which tapers down in an inverted rounded pyramid to the stopper. Engraved on the side is "J.L." - the initials of Dr. J. C. Lill a member of Marylebone CC.
