Brief Description
Signed lacrosse ball that has been used in a lacrosse match. The ball is fully covered with signatures in blue ink. There is an inscription across the centre that reads 'AUSTRALIA'S FIRST BOX LACROSSE GOAL IN CANADA 2ND AUG 1978 -/THROWN BY DENNIS NEWMAN'. The ball was originally white in colour but the painted surface has broken up to reveal the light brown coloured rubber underneath. Ball appears to have two halves which are joined across the centre.
