Rectangular piece of cardboard embossed with a crown under which is written BENGAL. The card is printed in black ink with the main text reading "His Excellency The Governor/ requests the pleasure of the Company of / Mr Leather / at a Ball on Thursday the 26th / of December 1935 at 9-30 p.m." Written on the back is "You are requested to bring this card with you."
