Brief Description
Lithograph, colour. Printed pastel portrait of John King (cricketer) wearing whites and a green cap with copper hoops. The cap also features a white fox. He also has a green sash with copper stripes and is playing a stroke. These colours are associated with the Leicestershire C.C.C. This print is one of a series produced by A. Chevallier Tayler in 1905 titled "The Empire's Cricketers". Inscr: "A. Chevallier Tayler / 1905. / J.H. King. / GILBT. WHITEHEAD & CO. LTD. LITH. / NEW ELTHAM, S.E."
